Everyone can identify personally with a flower. I am an ORCHID. What are you? Tell me after, reading this article, and I'll tell you who you are....
Imagine a romantic setting in nature, rich with the lullaby of birds. The grass is green and the air is laced with the sensual fragrance of fresh spring flowers as they exude Mother Nature's complex sexuality.
Flowers are frequently thought of in terms of form, colors, shapes, rather than its function. We decorate our homes with them because of their aesthetically appealing presence and the aroma they bring into our space. We show love to another with the gift of flowers. We hastefully pass them by in our rush to get somewhere. Other times we ignore them and take them for granted.
Biologically speaking it is the function of the flower which determines it form. They function as perfumes and oils for our bodies, enhancing our sensuality or arousing the sexual energies of our partner. In nature, form follows function and flowers are the reproductive organs of plants. They are the result of the sexual activity between plants. People in the west often think of sex in terms of performance and technique. Most do not think of the function of our sexuality and the power of our sexual energies in manifesting the forms we so desire. Whether it's optimal health, a new house, the ideal job or a rich and deeply fulfilling love life. Our sexual beliefs and attitudes can determine the outcome, and the form. Our sexuality consists of one of the most powerful energy cycles of manifestation that we often discount.
Another form of healing from flowers are through their essences. This therapy is known as Flower Essences by the originator Dr. Edward Bach. It's amazing how the beauty and healing power of flowers and plants go beyond their beauty and form and into their healing juices. From the leaves and bark to the flower buds, nature gives us love and medicine in its original purest form.
In understanding how flower essences work you must first recognize the human body as more than physical. The physical body incorporates a "body of life energy", a body of sensitivity, feelings and spirit. Flower essences are energetic imprints of the life force of plants which interact with these subtle bodies of the human being, and evoke specific qualities within you. They work in a way similar to inspirational music or art which travels through the vehicle of sound or light, while the flower essences work through the medium of water.
This explains well why we feel good when: a fight with your lover is followed by beautiful roses; an orchids flower plant arrives on your birthday, when we get a bouquet of summery flowers at work or flowers at the door when your date arrives for the first time. All these moments evoke good vibrations and wonderful warm positive feelings inside because flowers have the sexy energies and power to draw out your own sexy energies and healthy emotions.
So keep your emotional valve wide open and flowing with good vibrations and positive emotions. That is the secret to good health and prosperity in achieving your dreams!
THE FLOWER I AM
During the 19th Century, orchids were widely collected. With nearly 25,000 varieties, some orchids are among the most exquisite and expensive flowers available. In antiquity, orchids were correlated with love and fertility. It was common knowledge that they would protect against diseases. Given as a gift they stand for preciousness and seduction.
So what is the flower you identify most with? I am an ORCHID. I love them because of their confident beauty, erect body posture, their strength and endurance and the shape which reminds me of the female clitoris.

Hi Tracey:
You sound like a wonderful person. The flower I see you as is a "violet". On the other hand, if you tell me the flower you're drawn to then I'll tell you more about yourself. But I sense that you are a violet - symbolic of Faithfulness and Modesty.

Hi:
My favorite colors are red and purple. I am a morning person. I love jazz and R&B music. I like to sing sometimes. I like the summer and fall seasons most. I like to cook meals that are rare. I am a very spiritual woman. What would my flower be?
